Students who want to enroll in this course and aim to pass it successfully need to have a good written and oral knowledge of English.

A sound understanding of financial accounting and corporate finance is needed, including:
- balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements
- time value of money
- company valuation, including the discounted cash flow method and the multiples method.

Students taking part in this class need to be prepared to participate actively in class discussions and to work on a group assignment as part of the overall course assessment.
