PhD defense Marin Mileusnic

On Monday 5th September, Marin Mileusnic presented his PhD at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and obtained the title of Doctor in Public Administration and Management. During the public defense he layed out his dissertation which examines the prospects of establishing a genuine European fiscal union. He convinced the examination board members of the pertinence of his findings related to, amongst other things, the COVID-19 crisis and its economic implications that pushed the EU in forging new budgetary instruments and significantly deepening the fiscal integration as a consequence. During the public defence Marin was joined by his family and friends who witnessed a solid performance and made the event all the more special.
