The COVID-19 pandemic has had several implications for regulatory governance, particularly given the role of expertise in informing policymakers and regulators through an intensive process of policy learning. In this post hosted by the Procedural Tools for Effective Governance project (PROTEGO), Bishoy Zaki offers an overview of salient implications for innovative regulatory approaches spurred by the need for policy learning in the COVID-19 context.
