The Medical Imaging and Signal Processing (MEDISIP) research group and Infinity lab, in collaboration with the Nuclear Medicine department of the Ghent University Hospital, are organising the first conference on Total Body Positron Emission Tomography (PET).

The interactive, multidisciplinary conference focuses on new technology and systems, fast, dynamic imaging and low dose applications of Total Body PET in animal science and medicine. This unique event will be held at the Thagaste centre from June 30 to July 2. An impressive list of world-renowned experts in the field will come to Ghent to discuss the research potential and clinical applications of PET systems able to capture a large part of the body simultaneously.
