Be4Diversity organizes Women in Science Day 2020 for more inclusive STEM society with equal opportunities for women and girls

On 11/02/2020, the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the Bioscience Engineers for Diversity team (Be4Diversity) organizes Women in Science Day 2020, a full day symposium focusing on the steps that need to be taken to move towards a more inclusive STEM society with equal opportunities for women and girls.

Interactive workshops on leadership, mentoring, and unconscious bias will be followed by a keynote talk by dr. Elizabeth Pollitzer on gender-sensitive research and innovation, and a panel discussion on climbing up the gender balance ladder in STEM.

The day will be concluded with a networking reception with information booths of organisations promoting gender balance in STEM.

All students and personnel of our university are welcome to the event.
