On Wednesday 19 February 2020, the LLM-Programmes are pleased to invite the LLM-students to the next guest lecture of the current academic year.

The Eurozone has escaped a recession in 2019. In the new year it is the same global topics, like Brexit or trade, which will shape the course of the Eurozone economy. With disruption in key industries, an ageing population and increasingly complex politics, the Eurozone is facing many structural challenges. Not only in 2020 but in the years to come.

Mr. Carsten Brzeski, Chief Economist at ING-DiBa, will first discuss the short-term outlook for the Eurozone economy and then look into his “crystal ball” to find broader themes for the 2020s, both for the Eurozone economy and the Eurozone politics.
