The workshop will focus on the exception in law, exceptional regimes and more broadly exception and emergency in Law.
It will take place within the boundaries of the ERC-Consolidator Grant project EMERGE 101087876, Rethinking Emergency from a Legal Historical Perspective: Contexts, Law, Actors, in accordance with its intellectual commitment in fostering an epistemology sensitive to cultural difference and context.
The workshop welcomes contributions from Professors Raul Cârstocea (Maynouth University) and Paolo Napoli (EHESS) and Drs Sylvie Thénault (CNRS) and Gian Giacomo Fusco (University of Kent).
