Rachelle Ashcroft will talk about the impact of the COVID pandemic on social workers & the related challenges & opportunities in primary health care

Prof Rachelle Ashcroft works as an Assistant Professor at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto. She is leading several research teams as primary investigator, on the topic of social work in primary health care.

This lecture will draw on the impact of the pandemic on social workers, interprofessional primary care teams and patients and how we can continue to provide this care in a sustainable manner in the future. Research on this topic is tremendously important in today's context, as it contributes to both high-quality patient care, insights in the organization of care networks and to the education of students (in as well social as health programs).

This lecture is part of the TiSSA conference
