Beijersbergen & Girardi reveal CRISPR screens and antisense oligonucleotide advances transforming oncology drug discovery.
This ‘Meet the Expert’ session brings together two distinguished oncology researchers—Prof Roderick Beijersbergen (Netherlands Cancer Institute) and Dr. Tiziana Girardi (Flamingo Therapeutics).
Each expert will deliver a 30-minute talk on their latest research advances, followed by 10–15 minutes of interactive Q&A. Prof Beijersbergen will discuss the evolution of CRISPR-based screening technologies and their impact on cancer discovery, while Dr. Girardi will highlight how antisense oligonucleotides are unlocking novel therapeutic options for difficult-to-target oncogenic drivers.
The talks will cover state-of-the-art drug discovery, translational research strategies, and new screening modalities, illustrating how innovative molecular approaches can address unmet needs in oncology.
Ample time will be dedicated to individual questions and networking to foster collaboration, providing attendees with insights into current and future directions in cancer research.
