CAPTURE has been nominated for the EU REGIOSTARS award

(17-06-2019) The European Commission have nominated the Centre for Advanced Process Technology for Urban Resource Recovery (CAPTURE) for the EU REGIOSTARS award 2019.

CAPTURE. is a unique collaboration vehicle that aims at developing breakthrough technologies for the circular economy, more specifically in the fields of

CAPTURE is driven by knowledge partners who are closely interacting with industry and policy makers. Currently, also a CAPTURE accelerator infrastructure is being built at TechLane Ghent.

CAPTURE is putting itself on the map at an incredible speed. The relevance of the CAPTURE thematic pipelines, the collaboration model and the unique infrastructure have made CAPTURE an essential player for innovation in Cleantech on the international level. This is also valued by the European Commission who have nominated CAPTURE for the EU REGIOSTARS award 2019.

The REGIOSTARS are Europe’s awards for the most innovative, regional projects.

Every year, the European Commission awards those EU-funded projects, which demonstrate excellence and new approaches in regional development. With the goal of inspiring other regions and project managers across Europe, participating projects are in the spotlight of communication activities at European level. High-level academics will assess the submitted project applications and crown the winners. In addition, the public will decide on its own winner through a public on-line vote and award the Public choice award to one of the projects.
