The methodology for this ranking combines analysis from QS Global Employer and Academic Surveys with bibliometric data from Elsevier's Scopus database. Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature. Its comprehensive database contains 55+ million items indexed ensuring broad interdisciplinary coverage in the fields of science, technology, medicine, social sciences and arts and humanities. Although rankings measure only limited dimensions of a university and there are some discussions about the methodology of certain rankings, QS has become the first compiler of global and regional university rankings to receive the “IREG Approved” label.
