Peer learning network for professors

What

The learning network gives you the opportunity to indulge yourself in a cross-pollination between other tenure track professors from other faculties.

It is an experiential program in which you can share experiences and knowledge with each other and cultivate best practices. You will engage in discussions and help each other to increase self-reflection, learn about how others deal with shared challenges and opportunities and it can help you to achieve your goals.
In short, you will learn from and with each other within the domains of research, education, leadership & people management, self-development, strategic thinking, psychosocial health,…

As a group you define the agenda: you decide together on the topics and cases for the meetings.

How & When

  • 4 day course: 4 half days training (13h00 – 16h00)

  • Fixed dates: 20th April, 18th May, 15th June, 31th  August 2021

Newly appointed professors at Ghent University, with less than 2 years of experience as ZAP.

Trainers

Wendy Van den Bulck and Sara Leysen work as coaches and facilitators of leadership programmes in different universities and research institutes (True Colours)
