Gaëlle Houthaeve has been awarded the Portland Press Poster Prize

On the 24th of August 2017, Gaëlle Houthaeve received the Portland Press Poster Prize at The Pleiotropic Nuclear Envelope conference in Edinburgh (UK) for her poster entitled ‘Spatiotemporally controlled perturbation of nuclear envelope integrity using gold-nanoparticle-assisted photoporation’. This technique allows unprecedented control over nuclear compartmentalization in individual cells and will thereby be a valuable tool in deciphering the events that occur directly downstream of NERs.
