Biography

Jelter Van Hoeck obtained  the degree of Master in Biomedical Sciences in 2015 at K.U. Leuven with great distinction. After completing his thesis on the role of MIF/CD74 signaling pathways in macrophage-mediated inflammation and autoimmune diabetes, he started his PhD studies at the Ghent Research Group on Nanomedicines (GRGN). Here, at the laboratory of General Biochemistry and Physical Pharmacy, he investigates the cell-mediated delivery of drug-loaded nanoparticles to the tumor site.

Adoptive T cell therapy, Cell-mediated delivery, Cancer immunology, T lymphocytes, Nanomedicines, Nanoparticle targeting.

Summary of Research Project(s)

The research of Jelter focuses on the lymphocyte-mediated delivery of drug-loaded nanoparticles to the tumor site.
