Evaluation of a New Non-Invasive Pain Monitor ANSPEC-PRO
Description
Monitoring pain remains a difficult problem and in unconscious patients pain, direct monitoring is impossible. The new pain monitor registers a signal distracted from the skin elastance and other physiological parameters which are programmed in the software of the monitor. The project intents to evaluate the new monitor in different circumstances. In the first study, pain is monitored in patients with acute postoperative pain . The other studies of the project evaluate the monitor in chronic pain patients and unconscious patients during surgery.
