Prof. Bere (University of Agder, Norway) will talk about sustainable lifestyles with a specific focus on diet and physical activity.

How we live, affects both our health and our environment. In a context of global population growth, climate change and wellfare-related chronic diseases like overweight, obesity and type two diabetes, it is important to develop sustainable lifestyles. Prof. Bere will talk about these sustainable lifestyles with a specific focus on diet and physical activity. How are sustainable diets and active lifestyles defined? Which specific behaviors are important and why? Which multi-dimensional factors determine these sustainable lifestyles? The lecture will use examples from Norway and frame this evidence in a global perspective.
