IncuCyte® ZOOM

IncucyteThe Incucyte® ZOOM system (Essen Bioscience) is a live-cell imaging and analysis platform that enables automated quantification of cell behavior over time. The system has high definition phase contrast optics and software recognition allowing to mask, quantify and generate time based curves of cellular activities such as, but not limited to, 2D and 3D growth, migration (wound healing and chemotactic), aggregation (sphere formation), invasion. In addition, fluorescence tracking allows complex co-cultures conditions, phagocytosis assays, cell viability and apoptosis monitoring. A main advantage is the kinetic information which is impossible to achieve using end-point assays.
