The faculty wants to assist its researchers when they apply for mandates and projects at the FWO and the Special Research Fund (BOF). 

FWO, new application deadlines:
- Postdocs: December 2, 2019 ("junior postdoctoral fellowship" and "senior postdoctoral fellowship")
- Predocs: March 2, 2020 ("PhD Fellowship fundamental research" and "PhD fellowship strategic basic research")
- Projects: April 1, 2020 ("junior research projects" and "senior research projects")

  • Those who submit to Cult-1 can have their postdoc or predoc proposals read in advance by a reading committee. Proposals may be sent to , one month in advance.
  • Those who submit to Cult-2 can have their postdoc or predoc proposal read in advance by , or (for proposals in literary studies) . Deadline for postdoc proposals is November 15, 2019. Deadline for predoc proposals is February 15, 2020.
  • Those who submit to Cult-3 can have their postdoc or predoc proposals read in advance by , , , , or . Deadline for postdoc proposals is November 22, 2019. Deadline for predoc proposals is February 15, 2020.
