Content information

Starting level:

1. You have successfully completed Survival Arabic C or the placement test in the first class.

2. Or you speak an Arabic regional language (Morroccan, Egyptian, Levant), are familiar with some of the basic principles of standard Arabic and know the Arabic alphabet.

3. Or you have once studied Arabic and want to refresh your knowledge, especially in practical situations


Through interactive classes you will quickly expand your basic knowledge of spoken and written Arabic.


Module D has these contextual goals:

  • telling about your past (youth, moving)
  • sociologic importance and idiom of the Arabic family structure
  • describing someone's character
  • renting a house
  • work, CV and daily activities
  • sports and hobbys
  • travelling in the Arabic world
  • shopping for clothes and describing colors
  • levels and subjects in education
  • media
  • climate

After this module, you will be familiar with the past tense, the correspondence of the adjective for objects and persons, backgrounds about the broken plural, important connectors to voice an opinion and a reason, the active participle, the female form of the colors, the relative pronomen, verbs with a double end radical, weak verbs, affirmative and negative imperative, the elative, the future tense, the conditional, the passive.

You will be evaluated by means of an integrated task and a portfolio.
