Content information

Starting level:
You already have an advanced knowledge of English:

  • You can participate in a spontaneous conversation, interacting normally with native speakers.
  • You can participate actively in a discussion and defend your views - in a familiar setting.
  • You still have doubts about when to use present perfect and when simple past.
  • Your vocabulary is quite extensive, but you wish to enlarge it further.
  • It is required that you take the brief online test before enrolling. This will enable you to register for the course that suits your level best: Practical English level 5 / Communicative Course of English or Advanced Practical English. During the first class session your teacher will evaluate if the result of the online test can be confirmed. If you are referred to a different level at that stage you can enter that level on condition that sufficient places are still available.

Content:

  • Listening skills: only authentic materials are being used.
  • Speaking skills: you learn to express yourself fluently and spontaneously without having to search for specific words.
  • Reading skills: in the lessons only authentic materials are used similar to those that you face in daily and professional life or during your studies.
  • Specific grammar topics: modal verbs, tenses, gerunds and infinitives.
