Content information

Starting level: You write and speak English fluently. Before registering for this course, you should take an online self-assessment test which will determine your correct level of English. This will enable you to register for what suits your level best: Business English or Practical English courses.

To have a full and accurate idea of your level, the first class defines this definitely by means of an oral orientation test which may still refer you to another level.

This course focuses on refining presentations and making presentations more goal oriented in a professional context.

Efficient presentations require excellent preparation, by asking yourself why you are giving a presentation, who your target audience is, what purpose you are trying to achieve and what your main point is. We will discuss how a presenter can catch and hold the audience's attention and how a clear structure can make a presentation more effective. Naturally, the participants will give a presentation in class and receive individual feedback on their strengths and weaknesses.
