Inspiring session on Industry 4.0 and its relevance to students and young researchers, with some interesting cases from leading Flemish companies

Are you ready for Industry 4.0?

Dear master student,
Dear junior researcher,

Industry 4.0, the fourth industrial revolution, the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry. Vehicles, machines and factories become smarter, interconnected, more autonomous, more robust and more environmentally friendly. Companies can produce faster and develop better products at a lower cost and instead of selling the products they are presented as a service to the customers.

The opportunities are enabled by technological innovations such as Internet-of-Things, Artificial Intelligence, digital twin, wide-band gap power electronics, new materials, new machine architectures, operator support systems, 5G,  … more importantly, industry 4.0 requires a multidisciplinary approach, bringing (young) experts together each providing a piece of the puzzle.

Are you ready for industry 4.0?

Are you a master student, junior researcher or just curious to learn how your background is relevant in an industry 4.0 context?

Join our event with interesting cases from some leading Flemish companies
