In newspapers De Morgen and Het Laatste Nieuws Prof. Tom Evens commented on the use of product placement in popular telenovela Lisa. He relates the use of product placement to decreased live viewing and increased use of ad skipping: “The advertisement we skip during the commercial break is now inserted in the programme itself”
