Netflix has changed the rules

"The rules have changed since Netflix." says Prof. dr. Tom Evens. "The audience doesn't want to see one episode every week, but they want to be able to watch everything one after the other. This has consequences for companies like Telenet and Proximus, who were afraid of losing their paying TV customers. Because why would you still pay for normal TV, if you might as well subscribe to Netflix to binge watch series? So they had to do like Netflix: sell subscriptions with exclusive series for which people do want to pay. And if you don't have a subscription, you have to wait six months."
