JOB – Full time PhD student: Monitoring and explaining cross-media behavior

(04-07-2022) Within imec-mict-UGent we are looking for a classic media researcher for an assignment on 'Monitoring and explaining cross-media behavior'.

Every traditional media brand now has its online platforms, and nowadays also increasingly follows an 'online first' strategy. Local and international streaming platforms are on the rise and “personal brands” are becoming almost as important as “media brands.”. Our media consumption behavior is becoming more cross-medial. The offer becomes more personalized, and the user gains more agency over her/his media experience.

Starting from a unique mix of datasets (Digimeter, MobileDNA, Apestaartjaren, ....), you will look for the meaning people derive from new cross-media consumption habits.
