How to define certain issues among citizens and solve them with technology?

Different stakeholders are working together to find answers for social relevant problems by including the civilians of Ghent in the whole process. In the first cycle, the project focuses on the socialization of the healthcare sector. Where current technologies can help making this sector more sustainable in the future.

We at imec-mict-UGent use our expertise in the field of innovation development processes in cities and user-centric innovation development. Specifically, the implementation of focus groups, co-design workshops, rapid prototyping, ethnographic research, citizens’ drivers and barriers, usability research and field tests, with the aim of feeding the development process.
