Quinten Rommens is a final year master student, studying Theoretical & Experimental Psychology at the University of Ghent. As part of this program, he is currently doing a six month research internship at imec-mict-ugent (Media, Innovation & Communication Technologies). Here he is currently working on research using the MobileDNA application, by using the smartphone log-data obtained from users to predict their characteristics. Specifically to investigate the impact of smartphone use on social life and well-being.

He is also currently writing his masters dissertation in co-operation with the department for Personnel Management and Industrial Psychology. In this study, an eye-tracking experiment is used to investigate the effect of meta-stereotypes and their wording in job advertisements on job attraction in older job seekers.
