Amandine Henderickx graduated in 2018 as a master in Communication Sciences with a specialization in New Media and Society (Ghent University). In the following year she obtained a post graduate degree in digital marketing and communication at EHSAL Management School in Brussels. Currently, she is reworking her master’s thesis about the steering role of the Instagram algorithm on social influencers with the purpose of publishing.

In September 2019, Amandine started her PhD at Ghent University under supervision of Prof. dr. Tom Evens. She will do research for the public broadcasting service, VRT, and examine the different trends in media use among youngsters and the linked challenges and opportunities for the public broadcasting.
