In October 2019 Adrianna Aleksandrowicz started 5-months internship at imec-mict-UGent under supervision of dr. Klaas Bombeke. She obtained Masters degree in psychology at University of Gdańsk in July 2019. Her main interests during studies were neuroscience, cognitive psychology, clinical psychology and developmental psychology. She completed few internships in hospitals working with patients after strokes, with brain tumors and early stages of dementia, where she was running cognitive functions trainings and participating in process of diagnosis. She also spent a year working with children on a autism spectrum learning therapy based on applied behavioral analysis (ABA ).

Now she came to imec-mict-UGent to work on a project involving human-technology interactions with  a usage of neuro-physiological measurements. Her main focus at the moment is the influence of smartphone use on cognition.
