In this specialist course PhD students will be able to attend lectures and receive training in heart rate (variability) and skin conductance

During the two-day course, the doctoral student will be able to attend lectures and receive training by two international experts in the field. The doctoral student will acquire hands-on knowledge in creating study designs to ensure optimal data acquisition and will learn to perform adequate data pre-processing and state-of-the-art analysis techniques. Pre-processing and data analyses will be demonstrated using Matlab and Kubios (software for heart rate variability analysis). The doctoral student will be able to work with example data – made available for the purpose of the course – or bring his/her own data. The course will involve lectures and practical examples in writing out the results section of a scientific paper using physiological measures.
In sum, at the end of this course, the student should be able to adequately design, conduct, analyse and write out study results based on psychophysiological assessments.
Registration will be possible soon.
