Auto-ethnographic artistic research 'Stimming a Space' by Anna Püschel (Fluid Futures - LUCA School of Arts) on Neurodiversity and Self-Care.

In her auto-ethnographic artistic research Stimming a Space, visual artist Anna Püschel explores the entity neurodivergent bodymind to approach accommodations through an embodied neurodivergent lens. She focuses on stimming (self-regulation) as a powerful tool to create safe spaces and presents it as a radical gesture of self care. Her research feeds into current decolonial discourses and serves as an invitation to dwell at the margins of the neurotypical universe. Anja Veirman (art historian, anthropologist, LUCA), will also introduce the Research Network, FLUID FUTURES in which this project is housed.
