Despite evidence that attitudes significantly improve our understanding and prediction of travel behaviour, they are often missing from operational models due to perceived challenges in measurement and forecasting.

Prof Mokhtarian will discuss recent research addressing these barriers and propose ways forward for incorporating attitudes into forecasting tools, with important implications for planning in a rapidly changing mobility landscape.
