New HPIMS platform for communication: Medieval / Modern

(30-11-2020) The Pirenne Institute launches brand new platform Medieval/Modern for science communication

The Henri Pirenne Institute for Medieval Studies shares its research with the public through a new platform Medieval/Modern. With blogs, podcasts, videos and digital expos, Ghent University researchers in Medieval Studies bring their projects to the public. I’s all about communicating new ideas and knowledge about the past that is relevant for people today. Medieval/Modern brings together science communication in medieval studies and launches its own productions. For the Digital Science Day 2020 for example, we made professional videos in which five young researchers presented their research in an accessible and highly original way. Medieval/Modern is an exciting outlet for the public at large, but also a relevant channel of information for heritage professionals, education, lifelong learning, the cultural sector and tourism.
