ERCAT (European Research Centre for Artificial Turf) is part of CTSE and is accredited by the international federations FIFA (football), World Rugby (rugby), FIH (hockey) for both lab and field testing.

Lab tests

In the ERCAT laboratory, we perform tests and conduct research into (new) artificial turf structures and yarns.

Tests on Subbase

ERCAT offers tests for the stability and water permeability of your subbase. 

Field tests

ERCAT is accredited by FIFA, World Rugby and FIH to perform field test all over the world for football, rugby and hockey fields.

Research

For many years, the department has been conducting intense research into the optimization of artificial turf fibres and structures.
