MINOS – Multidisciplinary International Network on Sanctions
MINOS is the first international network of scholars dedicated to the rapidly evolving and complex field of sanctions. Operated by Ghent University in collaboration with numerous international universities and research institutes, the network promotes a multidisciplinary approach to sanctions — from their adoption to implementation and enforcement.
It provides a platform for European and international legal experts, economists and political scientists to develop innovative research and educational projects. MINOS supports research stays and exchanges, organises events and specialised courses, and advances multidisciplinary publications to foster innovation and knowledge in sanctions research.
By bringing together academia, policymakers and stakeholders, MINOS helps inform policy decisions on the design, impact and effectiveness of sanctions at the European, international and national levels.
