Leonhard Drescher

I am a clinical psychologist with a strong passion for research, clinical practice, and teaching. After studying at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium), with an exchange at the Universidad de Deusto (Spain), I graduated in 2016 with a Master's thesis about mind wandering under the supervision of dr. Kobe Desender and prof. Eva Van den Bussche.

My PhD project is about the role of the locus coeruleus in arousal regulation deficits in attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).  The first experiments will involve pupillometry and EEG measurements. The aim of this project is to increase our understanding of the neuro-cognitive processes in ADHD.
