Journals

Browse our journal collection quickly and easily via lib.ugent.be

Not only has the libary got a vast collection of online journals, but a fine collection of print journals as well.

Follow the Pinterest board with the faculty library's latest print journal additions.

The print journals in open shelves (ground floor) and our depot are not available for loan.

However, we do offer scans (pdf) of all the print journals in our collection (unless they provide online access already). Submit your request via lib.ugent.be. Remember to use Athena for visiting lib.ugent.be and to sign in at the top right of the page!

Of course you can also consult the journals on site and scan them yourself, free of charge.

Fake scientific journals

Beware of fake scientific journals! Do you recognise the warning signs? Have a look at onderzoektips.ugent.be/en/tips/00001724 for more information.

SFX screen

SFX is a tool that will take you from an online database (such as Google Scholar or Web of Science) straight to the fulltext of the article or e-book you’re looking for. If UGent does not have access, it will list some alternatives for obtaining the desired publication.

Questions or issues? Don’t hesitate to bring them up at the library’s information desk or at libservice@ugent.be.
