(09-02-2018) The Department of Special Needs Education welcomes you to the three-day workshop The Good Lives Model in Practice Tony Ward & Mary Barnao

The Department of Special Needs Education welcomes you to the three-day workshop ‘The Good Lives Model in practice’ from Wednesday April 18 to Friday April 20 2018.*

The 'Good Lives Model of Offender Rehabilitation (GLM)', developed by Tony Ward and colleagues has become an internationally recognized model for rehabilitation of persons who have committed criminal offenses. The three-day workshop will focus on the clinical implications and the concrete implementation of the GLM in practice. We will pay attention to both the application of GLM in general (first 2 days - for all participants) and more specifically to adolescent sex offenders (group 1) and forensic mental health service users (group 2) (third day - select the preferred group upon registration). After the workshop, participants will have acquired practical knowledge about the development of a Good Lives Plan in practice.

For more information you can consult the invitation.

May we ask you to spread the invitation within your network.

Best regards and hoping for your presence,

Prof. Dr. Stijn Vandevelde

Prof. Dr. Wouter Vanderplasschen
