Workshop Digital media, Families & Disconnection

On 9 March, we have the pleasure of welcoming Ana Jorge (Lusófona University, Lisbon) for a full-day workshop on digital media, disconnection, and family studies, hosted by research groups MICT and CEPEC.

In the morning, Ana will walk us through her new book (co-authored with Sofia Caldeira) 'Atmospheres and Digital Media', tracing how affective atmospheres tie together questions of disconnection and postdigital parenting. The afternoon opens into a more interactive format, with short reflections by Ana on topics such as sharenting and ethics, followed by open discussion with the group. 

In short, a great opportunity to connect across institutions, research groups and topics!
