Elisabeth Van den Abeele
Biography
Elisabeth graduated as a master in Communication Sciences in 2019, and obtained a specific teacher’s training in 2020, both at Ghent University. Few months after her graduation she was admitted to start a PhD scholarship within an interdisciplinary BOF-project at CEPEC. Elisabeth conducts research on kidfluencers and influencer sharenting. In particular, she investigates how children can be protected and empowered in their role as sender and receiver of advertising messages.
PhD Project
During my PhD Studies, I will do research on how children can be protected and empowered in their role as sender and receiver of advertising messages. This is an interdisciplinary research project (Communication Science and Law) funded by Ghent University.
