CIMS-member Femke De Sutter co-organises AMC x CGD Colloquium

FWO PhD candidate and CIMS member, Femke De Sutter, co-organises a Colloquium at Maastricht University that explores how we can disrupt dominant notions of ageing through art and media. It will focus on the potential of visual, ethnographic and artistic approaches to rethink narratives that portray ageing as a linear and irreversible path of decline and loss of pleasure. This colloquium brings together four presentations that will explore the relationship between aesthetics, narratives and ageing in different ways. It will be followed by a discussion and Q&A and will be moderated by Aagje Swinnen and Sara De Vuyst.
