7th International Press Freedom Seminar

Today the 7^th International Press Freedom Seminar took place. This year’s seminar was dedicated to
The Future of Public Service Media. The seminar was opened by Prof Dr. Eva Lievens, followed by a keynote by Dr. Catalina Iordache. A panel consisting of Victor Desmet (VRT), Charlotte Michils (VVJ), Dr. Catalina Iordache, and Prof. Dr. Eva Lievens further discussed how public service media are navigating global platform competition, political and financial pressure, changing audience habits, and the ongoing challenge of staying visible and trusted online. The seminar was organised by the faculty of Political and Social Sciences and the faculty of Law and Criminology and supported by NEFCA and Internationalisation@home.
