Emma-Lee Amponsah
Emma-Lee Amponsah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from VU University Amsterdam, a Master of Arts in gender and diversity studies and is now a PhD candidate working on an FWO-funded research project titled ‘RE:colonization Afro-Belgium and the 'living' memory of the colonial past in, through and beyond contemporary media’, supervised by prof. Dr. Stijn Joye.
In addition, she is initiator and co-founder of Belgo-Dutch grass-root organization and media platform Black speaks Back (BsB). An online channel that seeks to represent and empower European youth from the greater African diaspora through audio-visual content.
