Professor and senior researcher at research group imec-mict-UGent, affiliated to both research centre Imec and Ghent University, primarily focusing on innovation research and human-technology interactions.

Together with the team, we want to study, create and/or improve human-technology interactions by bringing together methods and theories from social and cognitive psychology, neuroscience, communication sciences and engineering. We are mostly involved in research on electronic/digital product design with a focus on (neuro)ergonomics, objective/implicite measures of user experience and psychological phenomena like stress, mental effort, flow or other cognitive-affective states.

The last couple of years, we also have been developing an XR framework called "ExperienceTwin" to measure human behavior during XR training, assessement or user testing. For more information, take a look at www.experiencetwin.org

I'm usually involved from project conception and initiation to project management and execution, so feel free to contact me for collaborations!
