Academic Interests:
Jeroen Cuvelier's research interests are anthropology of mining, the social life of policy, and gender dynamics in the south-eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo. In his current research, he focuses on the impact of mining-induced displacement and resettlement on the dynamics of belonging among displaced people in the Congolese Lualaba province.
