Dmytro Panchuk

Dmytro Panchuk is a post-doctoral researcher at the Centre for EU Studies, Ghent University, where he received his PhD in Political Science in 2017. His research focuses on EU cooperation with the Eastern neighbourhood countries through the Twinning instrument and support for public administration and decentralisation reforms. Dmytro earned his Master’s in Public Administration at Kansas State University (USA) in 2011, and then worked for two years at the National University of Ostroh Academy (Ukraine), teaching courses in Economics and Political Science. He combines his research at the Centre for EU Studies with policy advocacy activities as part of the Ukrainian World Congress mission to international organisations in Brussels.




Research interests

EU democracy promotion, democratic governance, promotion of democracy and democratic governance by EU member states, EU-Ukraine relations.
