Berk Vindevogel

Berk Vindevogel is a PhD Researcher at the Ghent Institute for International and European Studies and is funded by a BOF – doctoral scholarship.

He holds a Master in International Politics from Ghent University, which he obtained in 2022 with the highest distinction (summa cum laude). During his studies, Berk interned at the Egmont Royal Institute for International Relations in Brussels, where he secured his first publication. Berk currently researches how the different national preferences of the Arctic states in NATO lead to a common NATO strategy for the Arctic.

His PhD research aims to combine these interests by focusing on great power politics in the Arctic.
