Developmental disorders

The research group focuses on psychopathological mechanisms in children with a developmental disorder. Subjects are children, adolescents as well as adults, which gives the possibility to take into account a developmental dimension. There is a special interest for cognitive and social-cognitive functioning.

The major disorders being studied are autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and learning disabilities. This fundamental research contributes to psychological theory building and has implications for diagnosis and intervention. In addition there is a specific focus on psychophysiological (EEG/ERP/fMRI) research.
