Jacob J. van der meere

Jacob Van der Meere’s research interest focus on bio-neuropsychological and environmental correlates of developmental psychopathology, treatment effects, and quality of life of patients and caretakers. The research is internationally embedded and has been funded by the Dutch Organization of Pure Sciences, The Flemish Organization of Pure Sciences, Psychopharmacological foundations, and from Dutch, English, Finnish and American national, public and/or private sectors.

The research is carried out from a multiple level approach, including questionnaires, ethological observations, and psychophysiological registrations (heart rate, evoked potentials, and fMRI). Psychopharmacological intervention studies and genetic (twin) studies are part of this approach. Throughout the years, four coherent research projects have been developed. He (co-)authored 64 papers in ISI journals and several books.
