Technology can help to solve legal problems, something that is not yet known widely in Belgium and so we have invited two innovative minds to help you discover the opportunities

Think Legal Tech is the kick-off event for the inaugural UGent Legal Techathon.

Two innovative minds present their view on how technology can help solve legal questions.

Pieter Gunst ( and Jurgen Ingels (founder Clear2Pay) present their views on the opportunities that legal tech offers for (legal) entrepreneurs and how legal professionals can benefit from them.

This kick-off event will be followed by the first UGent Legal Techathon, in which 30-odd students from the master programmes in law and engineering/IT, in mixed teams, will compete with a detailed proof of concept of a legal tech question.

Participation to Think Legal Tech is free of charge, but registration is recommended via this link.
